Lifeskills is a pastoral care program undertaken by all students from Years 7 – 10. It addresses many areas that would otherwise not be systematically covered in the curriculum by all students. Units may include topics such as: Goal Setting, Mental Health, Bullying, Positive Thinking, Civics and Citizenship, Drugs and Alcohol, Puberty, Relationships and Social Skills, Safe Partying and Decision Making, Financial Management, Careers and Religion across the world. In Lifeskills at Year 7 students work with Year 10 students as part of the Peer Support Program. A range of guest speakers from various health and community organisations may visit classes.
